Hello Everyone!
It's me, Pabodha here. I am doing some home gardening in my spare time. Also, it will give me immense pleasure and mind relaxation to see how the seeds turn into baby plants and nurture them into big boys and in the end give us a chance to enjoy the freshness! So why not have even a small balcony home garden? I think that is one of the best ways to spend your spare time!
So I am here to share my gardening journey with you all and I welcome everyone to my blog. Let us join hands to make this world greener and let us stay healthy! Please keep reading...!
So, today I want to show you my Garlic plants and share with you how I add them to my garden.
So, This is how I made the growing medium for my garlic plants. I used a mix of compost, dried sawdust and surface soil(mostly sandy). The ratio of compost:sawdust:soil was 1:1:2. I used a disposable plastic container as a grow bag as shown below. This container was enough to plant 5 garlic cloves for me. I used the normal garlic that we can find from stores and I just soaked them for one hour before sowing.
-------- GERMINATION --------
I watered twice a day as we had sunny weather at that time. But if it rains, I think no need to worry much about the watering process. It took 4-6 days to germinate and the sprouts to come out. You can see below what my 5-day-old plants look like(please ignore my tiny tomato girl in the middle).
-------- PROCESS OF GROWING --------
This is what my garlic babies look like after a week.
And this was after passing 2 weeks.
Thank you for reading and hope you enjoyed it as much as I do by seeing these tiny babies!
